How to clean an air conditioner?

Shut off the power: Turn off the air conditioner and disconnect its power supply. Don't forget this step!

Removing the panel: Grasp the grooves on both sides and lift up the front panel of the air conditioner. Some can be removed completely, and then gently pull out the filter screen and take out the built-in filter of the air conditioner.

Cleaning the filter: If there is not much dust, you can simply rinse it with clean water. If there is a lot of dust, first soak it in a mixture of detergent and water for a while, then gently scrub it with a toothbrush, and finally rinse it thoroughly with clean water.

Cleaning the evaporator: You can spray disinfectant or cleaning foam onto the water surface of the evaporator, then rinse it with clean water. Some models are easy to clean without the need for special treatment. Make sure to remove the air conditioning filter before cleaning the evaporator.

Drying the filter: At this point, you can place the filter in a cool and well-ventilated area to dry.

Reassembly: After drying, put the filter back into the air conditioner. Note that the filter has slots, and it needs to be inserted into the air conditioner properly.

Just put the front panel of the air conditioner back in its original position, and it's done.

Cleaning the surface: Dust on the outside of the air conditioner should be wiped clean with a towel. You can use a damp towel to wipe it, then use a dry cloth to dry it thoroughly. Once done, the entire air conditioner will be cleaned.
